thanks guys.

skulll_monster: The armour and texture are temp. It still needs the zbrush touch. I plan on giving him scar tattoos. If that makes sense? So hopefully I can change your mind.

Teyon: The boots haven’t been worked on at all. Hahaha!! A friend of mine said i should give him a bathrob and a cup of coffee along with the morning paper under his arm. But seriously. I guess I liked the pose. I think it makes him look proud and strong.

godlyzombie: Thanks bud! Ye I left those dang loops out on my bravestarr model. DOH! luckily I can retopo his ass later. Hmmmmm

Thanks for the comments everyone!

Cheers

Just wanted to drop by and let you know you have some real nice work going on here. I love the hard edge stuff on the Silver Surfer and I really enjow the WitchBlade model. You ever see the Clayburne Moore sculpture?

I find the muscles of leg (from the front) quite odd.
The rest looks fine!

Hey Sergio thanks for being honest! I’ll have a look at them. Are you referring to the upper leg?

Please guys crit away. Its the only way I’ll get better.

Here’s another doodle I did today from a sphere. Its inspired by Sebastian Krugers Walter Mathau. I hope you like it.

Looks like Walter Mathau…or Ronald Reagan. Either way, it looks great!

Very cool sculpt. Maybe the eyebrows could be tightened up a bit if the sphere topology allows, but I like it.

Wayne…

that’s great brett—very nice fleshy forms and immediately recognizable. i love Kruger’s stuff.

I like very much the details of this character.

Hey thanks guys!

I’ll try do some more on walter when i’m in the mood. I’ve already tweaked bits mentioned. But for now here’s another sphere doodle.

Hope you like. Please crit away…

The fish is awesome! Mobster fish?

I really injoy your abillity to create a personality for your characters with a single glance. What was the most helpful resorce to you when learning this?.
I don’t feel I’m lacking the sculpting skills, but man if I could give the life that you do I’d be a happy man. :+1:

Hey guys thanks for the comments.

womball…Ye I think so. Its from the disney’s little mermaid 2. Haven’t seen the movie though

mphilip…Thanks so much! I think the best way to create personailty is to thin kwhat the character is feeling, whats his personality, whats he going through? Its the best advice I can give you…

Here’s an update on the fish. Hope you like it…

Crits and comments are welcomed guys.

Okay, that fish is just plain bad-ass! I’m trying to pull off some cartooney characters myself. Nice job!

brett, things are looking good, nice to see your range with the styles of sclupts.
nice work.

Ok so I’ve been trying out the displacement exporter and I’m really lost here.
Here are two renders of the simian and I can’t get the detail out of zbrush. the nipples for instance. If anyone can point me in the right direction I’d be most grateful. I’ve tried cage, I’ve tried going up a level or two, I’ve tried adjusting my map in photoshop too. Also I noticed auv tiles is leaving cracks in the texture? hmmmmm… I feel like I’m re-learning everything here?
