This is a preview for my gradfilm produced at Emily Carr, Vancouver. The film will be screening on May 3rd at the ECI Gradshow along with many other films by fellow graduates. Aakraman is a three minute short film about the journey of a soldier crashing through his values as a human, blindly going on a rampage only to realize his folly when it is too late. hope you like it
I use XSI for the base models of everything on screen and detailed it with zbrush, using normal maps and displacements for the soldier character.
The render was done using the ink lens shader to trace all the detail and the xsi toon shader to give it a flat look trying to mimic a pseudo graphic novel style.
