GoZ

Hello,
I would like to make a case about Silo with GoZ.

I have been using Modo for a month now but I have decided Silo is the better modeler. Like Zbrush, Silo navigation orbits where you work. I can not believe that in Modo this is not as simple as one might think. I will not go into detail here (I have on the Modo forum). But Silo is inexpensive and very natural feeling when it comes to modeling. And it’s the little things like this navigation issue that make the software really great. Zbrush gets it, and Silo gets it. I have read alot of forums around the web where professionals are using Silo, this modest little modeling program, because it has a streamlined modeling toolset that is very ‘natural’ and does not break your concentration as you work.

Thanks for hearing me out.

I go back and forth between Silo and ZB all the time. It doesnt really strike me as the sort of thing that would benefit overmuch from any sort of dedicated interface, because Silo isnt a rendering app. It’s really just about importing/exporting OBJs between the two, both of which work for me without much issue.

[Edit] I guess there are certain aspects of the workflow that could benefit. Sure, why not, Im all for it. Hopefully GOZ will work with every app eventually. I’d much rather see XSI first though
