GoZ to Maya: Rendering Contours with Displacement Maps

I was told it would be a good idea to start showing off the topology in my demoreel. I’ve mostly been using a Maya>Zbrush>Maya work flow using GoZ. I’ve read that using Mental Ray to render out the wireframe via the contours option was the way to go. However, when trying this procedure with a model with displacement maps, only the outside contours render, while the rest of the wireframe does not.

Basically, how can I get the wire frame to display properly in metal ray with displacement maps from Zbrush?
