goz texture issue

Hey I have a plane in maya, it’s going to be a big golf course. the amouny of geometry needed is very large so i want to do controlled subdivisions in maya and sculpt those areas in zbrush. Problem is when I goz to zbrush the texture doesn’t come with it? and when I reapply the texture in zbrush it doesn’t line up (I’ve tried rotating the texture). Why is this happening? I’ve made uv’s in maya so it should line up perfectly.

Any Ideas?

(I’ve tried rotating the texture).

Just to clarify; by rotating the UVs do you actually mean flipping vertically? The latter is what you’d want to do. Select the imported texture in the texture Palette, hit the Flip V button, and then apply it.

also when I import a big texture into zbrush (below 4000 squared) it comes in a tattered mess? I’ve tried psd jpeg and tiff.

Thanks, I’ll try that. I was just rotating the 90 deg.

Hey thanks man! it worked. Can’t believe I overlooked the uv tab in the tool section :o.
I was rotating the txt not flipin’ uvs.
