GoZ shelf installs everytime I start maya 2011

Hello pixologic. I’ve noticed that everytime I start maya 2011 that I get a message dialogue stating “GoZBrush shelf installed” “You may at any time, etc etc” with an “OK” button.

This happens every single time I start up maya.

I tried deleting the shelf in the shelf editor and then saving the shelves just to see if it would stick. Alas, the GoZbrush shelf installs again on next startup.

I am sorry if this has been answered a lot before but I can’t really effectively search Zbrush central because your search often errors out when I try to use it.

Anways, I am sure it is a simple mistake on my part and any help on keeping this shelf from re-installing everytime I boot maya would be appreciated.

I’m not a 100% sure about this because I don’t use GoZ, but if you go into Zbrush Preferences in the GoZ submenu and click ‘Clear Cache Files’ it might stop.

So, that wasn’t it but… I did find that Zbrush installs a GoZ script in the startup folder. I deleted this script and it did not come back after a new start up.

What happens if you don’t change the GoZ shelf on the next startup? it creates a new shelf?
Or when the shelf is created, do you move the GoZ icon somewhere else?
