GOZ problems, maintaning detail, and zeroing model on grid.

Hi,

I’m new to zbrush. I used GOZ to send a model to Maya. It turned up in Maya with a lot of its detail missing, even after pressing 3.

Also when I reimported the model from Maya into Zbrush the model turned up off center so that the symmetry scultping wasn’t even on both halves of the model.

Any advice would be great…

Screenshots would help us see what “detail missing” is.
Did your object have layers when you Goz’d it to Maya? That’s the only time I had a similar issue, and the cure was to dupe the SubTool in ZBrush and bake the layers, then Goz that SubTool to Maya.

I worked it out through a youtube tutorial. It was to do with displacement maps.
