Hey guys,
So I got a problem with GoZ (Z4) for Maya (2011)
When I hit the GoZ button in Zbrush, maya pops up, loads the model, and then it gives me an error message saying:
‘‘Errors have occurred while reading this scene that may result in data loss.
Please check the Script Editor for details.’’
I then click ok, and the model is fine and all. But the name/ID of the model have changed to ‘’_UNKNOWN_REF_NODE_fosterParent1’’, so when I click the GoZ button again inside Maya I get the message:
’'The object “_UNKNOWN_REF_NODE_fosterParent1” is a descendant of “_UNKNOWN_REF_NODE_fosterParent1|Brawler_v0_6Shape.GoZBrushID”.
Press OK to restore the original GoZ name “Brawler_v0.6” and send the modified mesh to ZBrush for remapping.’’
I then click OK and the model loads into Zbrush, but as a new tool and I loose all my subdivisions.
How do I fix this??
