I was wondering if there is any way to make GoZ memorize materialID’s/selection sets from Maya to Zbrush ?
I know GoZ can do that for 3dsMax, but not for Maya.
I find it to be very useful to have this information transitional between Maya/Zbrush.
Those material Id’s could be converted into polygroups when the object is exported back to Zbrush, this way you can have multiple UV sets on the same object because in Maya every material Id had a specific UV set.Now every polygroup created could have a specific UV set.Finally you can group split your object when you’re done with the modeling and then project your maps on every new subtool created , which have a specific uv set.
