GoZ > Maya - From 80k total points to 10 million Tris

Hi so I started using Zbrush 2 days ago and have been working really hard to make my 1st ever model

it was really hard, I made it from ZSpheres and moulded it into what it is now and it ended up 78,722 points but when I export it into maya it ends up with 10,076,160 Tris, I am not aware of what total points are… but the closest I would assume they are is verts which in maya there is 5million of them

Am I doing something wrong? here is what I have

How would I go about exporting this at a reasonable count for my game? with the rig working, the rig is a seperate Zsphere object and I used Rigging and Adaptive Skin to fit them together

I’m a complete noob with Zbrush but I’m quite experienced in Maya but I can’t make living things in it so bought Zbrush, Sorry if this has been asked before but I don’t even know what to search
