Did you try to frame the view in modo (A key)
Weird thing - but just upgraded and testing this with max 2012. I noticed when I import a model created in max via GoZ the move tool seems… broken?
It works but simply stops after a few centimeters of movement - and only on that model. Switching to another ztool works just fine.
Anyone had this?
yes i try to zoom the view port and frame in Modo.
in the geometry item list still gray, (means that its empty and there is no points or polygons, )

I’m trying to use GoZ to send my model to 3ds Max 2012 x64, but Zbrush keeps sending it to Photoshop CS5 Extended x64 instead. So I went into the Preferences and told Zbrush (via the “path to Photoshop” button) that Photoshop is “Not installed!”. Instead of succefully exporting my model to 3ds Max, I instead get an error from Windows 7 x64 stating that GoZBrushToPhotoshop.exe has crashed and needs to close. If I restore the path to Photoshop, the error goes away. This is not good at all!
Now that Photoshop is supported by GoZ, I feel a popup interface is going to be sorely needed, one that allows users to control which application their model will go to each and every time they press the GoZ button. A simple dialog box that lists all the detected apps the user has preconfigured is all that should be required. Thanks!
Press the R button next to the goz button for what you’re asking for.
Thanks for the quick reply! I’ve only ever used GoZ with Max, so the need for app switching never came up before. Have to say I’m impressed too. I transfered a 333,000 poly model to both Photoshop and Max last night. Neither caused me any trouble at all, so definitely a step in the right direction for all apps involved.
Okay, this is probably simple. But how do I go back from Photoshop to ZBrush? ZBrush opens an unnamed file in photoshop, I edit the texture, I save it but nothing happens.

OSX GoZ from Sculptris not sending to ZBrush
Fixed my issue copied all my config files and brushes etc and trashed my screwed zbrush. Reinstalled ZB4 using the default GoZ and added the GoZ folder from the Sculptris application folder as directed into The GoZ app folder in > Users>Shared>Pixologic

Booz, strange… Maybe something in the ZB preferences?
Not the preferences, but perhaps a conflict between GoZ updates…?
Did you remove all old GoZ files first?
Hey guys. Let me say how great this GoZ is and to hank you for the hard work.
However i have a little problem when using it.
I am going to show few test images to illustrate my problem a little better.
I wanted to take my sculpt and export it to Max 2012 – it does the same for 2011. I sculpted some details just for the test. Used uv master to make uv’s.
Went to the first subdivision and made normal map.

Did you downlaoded the last GoZ update at our Download Center?
In Max, in your shader, go in the Normal shader loaded in the bump channel and see if the Green or blue channel is fliped. It should be something like that.

I tried what you suggested but it did not work. Now I cant even get it to show properly even if I apply the map manually.
There was option to flip the green or red channel … no option for the blue …
Any other suggestions would be very appreciated.
Edit: I just noticed that if I export the files to max 2011 it brings the mesh in and a material applied to it but no maps
what could possible be wrong here…
Edit 2 : I just made new material and applied the maps in 3ds max 2011 and it is working fine … no need to flip any channels:
So I did a little more investigation. If I go in max 2012 and in the shader on the bump map slot remove the Normal bump, and apply the normal map directly to it without the normal bump, it is working correctly … not sure if that could help anybody helm me Thanks again
I’m haven some major issues with Goz From 3ds max 2011 to Zbrush, Sometimes It wont Goz all Meshes. The major issue is the Mesh gets distorted when I turn on Surface noise. As far as I know everything is set to Defaults and It was working ok 2 weeks ago. I’m haven the issue before A goz update and after, I even uninstalled and reinstalled.

For the 3DSMax 2012 with a .Net framework error, please, check these steps:
- Go in C:\Users\Public\Pixologic\GoZApps\Max folder, then select the SendEventToMax.dll and check it's properties.
- Check if you have down the General tab a small security text with something like "This file comes from another computer and may be lock to protect this computer" (I'm sorry, I'm on a french OS, I don't have the exact translation)
- Then click on the Unlock button.
- Check also the 64bits dll: SendEventToMax64.dll
