skaale: please provide more information: you can’t send back in ZBrush your models, you can’t send multiple subtools because something happen, etc…

I’m using ZB4 on a macbook pro with the latest OSX. Any help you can offer me with getting GoZ up and running along with MAYA would be much appreciated.
snasitra: sorry for the delay of the answer. Did mac OSX prompt for an administrator login and password just after asking to install the files in Maya?
Check that the user “Everyone” have the full read/write privileges in the Maya/Script/Startup folder. You should have a GoZScript.mel inside.
That is pretty much the same error I get, except that I am using GoZ to Cinema 4D. I have set all users to have “read/write” access (admin, system, evryone…). Also using Mac OSX.

Tennet: did you applied these settings to all the subfolders of Cinema4D, especially “/library/scripts”? GoZ should install in this folder a GoZBrushFromCinema4D.csc. If you already have one, move it off this folder and try to reinstall.
For those who have multiple instance of Maya on the -second- GoZ operation on windows, a an issue has been fixed. We will update GoZ very soon.
Hello everyone, i been all day trying to make it to work, but still maya 2012 opens everytime i use Goz from Zbrush, i can send it from maya to zbrush no problem but when i send from zbrush to maya it opens a new instance.
Like we know this has been around for a while i’ve tried everything that was told here but nothing worked, no lucky at all i think we cant use the same trick from 2011 in 2012, so i would like to ask if anyone here that had updated Goz to its lastest release and uses Maya 2012 if its working, thank you.
Stoned: if you can go from Maya to ZBrush, but each time you go from ZBrush to maya it opens a new instance, the next update will fix this issue.

Yes, I’ve set all permissions for the Cinema 4D folder (incl subfolders), Zbrush and Users/Shared to be ‘Read/write’. Still not working.

Totyo - No the script “GoZfromCinema4D.csc” isn’t present in “/library/scripts” folder of Cinema 4D.

reinstalled zbrush and goz and uv master go in phtoshop hit automate to get back into zbrush then…this.

Hboybowen: when you reinstalled, did you also copied the GoZDLL.dll and the GoZ.zsc files in the good location? (C:\Program Files (x86)\Pixologic\ZBrush 4.0\ZData\ZPlugs)
Of course, you have to quit ZBrush first.

Replaced the hard drive, Clean Installed Mac OS = GoZ Update is working!
GO z keeps launching 3ds max 32 bit but I want it to launch my 64 bit version any ideas?
Is there a way to control which material is assigned when using goz with maya? It seems to always be a blinn and I would like control over which it defaults to.
