GoZ - How the heck ?

Hi champs,

GOz problem:
I have no clue what the heck I am doing wrong… I think I just went full retard… even if I should not !
But heck, I have a simple box in 3dsmax --> Click GOz

and I can’t sculpt on that simple freaking box in Zbrush !

I came across the same issue! The size of the square might be the problem, unable to see it in the Current Tool Preview window!

The one I sent through was around the same size as yours, re-video. The size of brush showed no change!

Not sure your work flow, but would you be able to unify the cube (tried with mine) then resize it back in 3DS Max? Just a thought!

but as you can see from the unit setup within max, it is Centimeter… nothing unusual… very common setup.
The square itself is also not crazy big like a skyscraper, also not crazy small as an atom…

I have to say… that stuff should work from pixologic…

When you say, unify… what you mean with that ?

still can not fix this issue !

Morning Capu.

The size of rectangle in ZBrushs “world coordinates” it’s huge. If you activate the default grid/floor you can see how large it is! But Yes, it should work?

Under Tool-Deformation-Unify it will resize it! It’s origin will change to centre of mesh as well!

well… going inside of zbrush and resizing it… this does not make any sense.

The GoZ Feature needs to go smooth.
I mean, in the code the function needs to be implemented to scale it automatically.

Does anybody know how to do that ?

I contacted Pixologic Support… no respond to my ticked yet !

But heck, I can’t be the only one here…
GOZ is cool, but it has to work !

Otherwise it’s useless…
