GoZ for Photoshop and Poser fails to recognise Photoshop and Poser Apps

I have 4R6 installed on my MacBook Pro running OSX 10.9.1. I have Photoshop 6 CC and Poser Pro 2014 installed but when trying to set the path in the GoZ preferences it fails to see/recognise/accept the link to the actual apps. Is this a known bug?

For Photoshop you could try manual installation:

http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/zbrush-other-programs/goz/manual-installation/

The Poser GoZ plugin is a third party plugin and you will have to contact the makers for advice.

I got the Poser one to work by editing the GoZLocatePoser.sh file.

I replaced this;
/Users/Shared/Pixologic/GoZBrush/GoZLocateApp.app/Contents/MacOS/GoZLocateApp “Poser” “Poser Pro*.app”

with this;
/Users/Shared/Pixologic/GoZBrush/GoZLocateApp.app/Contents/MacOS/GoZLocateApp “Poser” “Poser Pro 14.app”

and it worked.

Hello,

I have the same problem with GoZ in zBrush 4r6 P2. Locating Photoshop CS6 worked after some efforts but to Poser Pro 2014 it just won’t work. Both Poser and Pixologic support team couldn’t help me out yet.
Is GoZ fully functional with Poser or has it just found the path?
I tried to add the config file with the path manually and zBrush found the path but the morphs were not recognised by Poser.
(Exporting from Poser to zBrush is working though.)
I wanted to give your suggestion a try but I’m not able to change the GoZLocatePoser.sh file. I can’t seem to unlock the permissions. Even though I’m the administrator of my Mac running 10.9.1
How did you manage to make the changes? Could you help me out?

Thanks!

Simolitz

I had to unlock the path in as well (the folders are also locked to read only)

Cheers
