GoZ and Obj export issues

Hi
I’m having some issues with GoZ and .obj exporting and I’m wondering if everyone else has stumbled on to them.

The problem is hard to explain so I’m posting the 2 videos below to show my issues. The main problem is the flickering of the model when exported or GoZ’ed and the fact that zooming in and out makes the model disappear when zooming out and reappear when zooming back in.

The flickering issue was visible on the previous version of GoZ but not as prominent. The disappearing of the model is completely new to me.
On the other hand obj exports always worked flawlessly but now they seem to mirror the GoZ issues I’m having.

Any ideas why this is happening?

When exported to .obj

Notice in the videos that not only the model is flickering but the wireframe as well. Everything looks messed up.

about the disappearing

It seems like it has something to do with the scale of the object.
To eliminate or approve that’s the issue, try to scale your model 0.1, or 0.001 or 0,0001. if the flickering stops, it is the scale. The other way to test it, is to change the attributes of the near clip plane and far clip plane of your camera or how it called on C4d, which means how far and how close your camera “sees”

Hi Yannis.
Yep all the problems were scale oriented.
The obj export problem was solved easily by reducing the scale but for a while I got stuck on the GoZ export. I thought I didn’t have a way to control the scale of the export. But after that I remembered the scale slider on the export dialog.

Even though I thought that GoZ was using its own settings and handling things independently according to which application you use it seems that it’s not…
And the slider for some reason was turned all the way to 10000!!

Many thanks for the fast reply! You saved my day.

PS: By the way are you working with any of the usual post production companies in Greece? I work in a advertising agency in Greece so, if you do I might have stumbled on to you!!
