Got a little confused with Zspheres

Hello All,

I am very new to Zbrush and have a tiny problem creating eye sockets on my model. I’ve found everywhere, that you simply have to create a child sphere and move it inwards the parent, until it becomes silverish. However I’ve attached the results I’m getting. Btw I have zbrush 4 not sure, if that makes any difference or I’m just overseeing something very trivial. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

R

you need to switch to classic skinning for it to cave it in for you.

tool>adaptive skin> use classic skinning.

Remember that this will completely change the way the rest of your mesh works. Having the loops in place (which you have) is much more important than having it push them backward for you.

I can see what you mean by it will change the way my mesh works. Changing Intersection Resolution and Membrance already give me funny results on the lower belly and tail parts. Thank you for your reply, I can get back to work now!
