Gore Withdrawals thread

Man i love those stoned faces, only comment is set a morpher or something to give it more like tortured faces, like their trapped there in agony for eternity :), then again thats just my 2cents

Ron

nOW THEY LOOK HORRIFIED . LOLS

Hi Ron

Thats a cool looking wall, are the heads all modeled out of one plane, or are the seperate and pushed in to the background.

I think it would make a great piece if you Isolated one head for a complete image. The texturing is really nice. Good job:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

That is a great wall Ron, it reminds me Pixolator’s z images I’m sure you know which ones I mean.
p.s. Don’t worry I’ve been called worse than T’h’omas

LOL Lemo…that gives me some ideas…muhahahah

Pride…yeppers…I like the black and white thing…gives it more atmosphere, like an old black and white movie…

Soulstealer…I agree, and went on last night to do another one a little different with moaningish heads…thank you for the suggestion…I think it works.

Wkdsunny…if you think they look horrified, you should have seen my face when the bills came due this month…

Panster…yeppers…I did it on two layers…used a rock/pebbles photo…made an alpha…aplied it to the plane and heads for the texturing…did the inflate, smooth thing a couple of times…Mtb’s lighting and material…and on this one I am posting now added a little lighting effect in PS along with the water…I may try to do one modeling the faces directly into the plane…but in this instance they are a handful of head models that were treated as the plane and pushed into place…I would like to hear more about your idea for isolating a head on the wall…(love all yer ideas…and especially how you end up rendering them…ten thumbs up)

Gl, lol I get called everything but my own name these days…Pixolator has been the inspiration for mannnnnnnnnnnny images…he is the king in my book…I have always wondered if he has ever used every button and slider in one image before? That would be a challenge for sure…

thanx again everyone for your input…and hope everyone got full bellies today…I know I am stuffed more than the turkey was…

g’nite,
Ron

thnx TD, I am glad you think so…

Panster inspired me to do this image…with blood in the sheets/blankets…and I pulled the head out of the plane …so this is one piece…dont like it as much as the last two, but alot of fun:D

and a little different version of the same pic…

thnx for looking,
Ron

OK Ron, how did you accomplish these? These are awesome!!! Can you give me a small tut or something? I am digging these!! Please tut?:+1:

glad you enjoyed these Dave…

Just made a very simple script using default zbrush alphas and a crappy little head model to demonstrate this method…When I do the 3dplane subD…I divide all the way…didnt go all the way in this script because it might now work for others running it…anyways…hope it works…should take less than five minutes to demonstrate…if it doesnt work or you dont understand, just let me know and I will do something different.

thnx

some play time…
ron

the original before the filter…made with a spiderweb alpha I drew in z, grabbed and painted with and then made the alpha 3d and used that as well…just experimenting…and making something for a sick friend…

Very interesting pattern. I love your experimental approach- I’ll be checking in on your work- its different (and good).

Craig

I will have to have a look at this. Thanks for the script!!

Thanks Craig. Your comments are appreciated…I visited your site. Very nice gallery and kewl resume. Must have been ultra kewl interning at Marvel:+1:

No problem, Dave. The script is quick and dirty. In my works, I used good photos of Pebbles to make my alphas from. The script shows the steps. Better models and alphas means a helluva lot better and more clean pic…lol…not to mention higher rez models (including the 3d plane)

take care guys,
Ron

Very cool Ron,thankz for sharing your methods, ppl like you are a great help ~stars in fact!!bye cal

Thnx Cal, you make me blush…glad to be of help always.

Someone recently posted a work of a couple of twisted heads similiar to this…reminded me of the security guard twins on one of the Hellraiser movies…thought I would try something similiar.

have a great weekend,
Ron

I will probably do a couple of versions of this hopefully over the weekend…but this is my first attempt…(not 100 percent happy with it, but I never am…and probably never will be…)

I thought it looked rather hellraisery. You could always define the jaw bone more, dirty those teeth(my teeth aren’t that white, he could be an ad for some toothpaste!), maybe over exagerate the wind pipe in the throat, add more bumps to the skin, overexagerrated pores perhaps.

Ron, you have some mojo going there eh?

Ha yes, Ron I like it, Twisted Twins;) Been meaning to post back in here on the wall and head idea, you asked me to allaborate on. But I been a bit busy with avarice as you know. and now its 2 in the morning so I’m gonna try and put some time aside to post properly tommorow.

keep up the good work,

Wow, Ron, what drugs you been taking!? This workis the most warped, twisted and eerie stuff I’ve ever seen you do!

Keep posting, your on a roll :+1: :+1: :+1:

Added some clawed hands I have been working on.

Thank you so much for the suggestions, Womball. Some of it I could still do, other elements meant starting from scratch…dirited the teeth up…lol now they look more like mine  Played with the skin a bit more also. Alot of things about it I hate, but it’s all about learning and having fun…did both of those.:+1:

Bill I have something, though I dunno if it’s mojo or not…

Thnx Panstar, I humbly await tomorrow…you da’ man.

Unfortunately Angelstein, they are prescribing me exactly the drugs I want or need…muhahahaha…I am glad you like my stuff…sometimes the images work and well…lol sometimes they suck times infinity(moreso than not lol)

I hope to continue to get better…I just seem to move alot slower in the process than the other talented people on this wonderful forum…but I won’t give up.

thnx,
Ron

I am still going to try to add a background wall or something before it’s all said and done…but shadowy for sure…since this experiment is or was a doodle that has now evolved into a little something more than originally intended…lol…
