Good shader to paint skin?

Does anyone have a good material - or have any tips on how to make - that behaves somewhat like skin but is also white so I can use polypaint on it and have the true colors I’m using? I’ve tried some I’ve found around and tried tweaking too, but to no avail. I’m looking to get a result close to this:

Most Matcap materials have preassigned color(s), if you like the shading properties of the material and would like to turn off the colorizing aspect of it, you may do so by setting the material properties ‘Monochromatic A’ and ‘Monochromatic B’ to 1.

How about using the new SkinShade4 in ZB 3.5 R3?

I’ve tried but it looks kinda flat and the colors look desaturated. I’ve got better results by tweaking some clay material I found somewhere, I’m starting to get the hang of how the material modifiers work. Maybe later I’ll post some pictures of how it’s going. Thanks a lot for the help guys.

I use this old 3.1 shading mode:
