Good, fast render settings?

I guess this is the Holy Grail of ZB questions, but what are some tips for rendering that looks great?

Doing “Best Render” flattens my material a bit and makes it look “spotty”.

I’m rendering a scene with 7.5 mil polys and 10 subtools, and I’m just rendering out with ZB.

So what tweaks do you do for rendering a turntable, or what would you suggest playing with that will have good effects? What settings will get rid of the spottyness of “Best Renderer”?

One thing that I want to fix is jaggidy edges, which I think is anti-aliasing.

yes, you need to use AA to kill the jaggies.

and to render the best out of Zbrush you need to render in passes.

Render in shades of gray
each light individually
color without shadows
etc

then comp it all together post.

I hope this helps

Can you pleas be more explicit?

look up how a composite image is made.

there are entire books on the subject…so I am not going to go into it on a forum.

sorry, but I don’t have time to write a book when google is at your fingertips

hi goast, i’m not very good with english, do you know where can i find a good tutorial on how do composite image with zbrush renders?
I’ve found nothing in google, sorry, maybe you know some famous tutorial.

Thank you

What? Wow… I didn’t knew you were so busy, I know what a composite image is thank you, i just thought you had something more “explicit” to say.

Sorry but i just don’t understand why ppl waste their valuable time replying in a “Questions & Troubleshooting Forum” if they are not goin to help at all.
