My first memory from “LOTR” is when my mom tried to cover my eyes when Gollum appeared on the big screen. Little did I know that Gollum would be my first real-time character.
Inspired by the “Gollum” artwork from Even Amundsen, my goal for this project was to manually go through the stages of real-time character production, even though I knew little of the pipeline. It forced me to learn the fundamentals of it all.
