Goblin in a cave.

First post here on zcentral.

Just a goblin bust for practice, rendered and placed in front of a background image.

Used zbrush for modeling and render, with touch ups in photoshop.

Just a couple different views of the model. Obviously going for stylized more than realism. Comments and criticism are always appreciated.

This was meant to go before the other picture, but technical difficulties ensued. Anyway, this is a model I designed for the purpose of a 2d image. This picture is meant to be a spoof on ads in the fifties. And just incase you couldn’t tell from the absurdly disproportionate man,i do NOT support the inappropriate use of anabolic steroids. haha. CC always appreciated. Body Builder color test 3 small.jpg

I love the composition ! =) great work man

Thanks! Took a bit to find the angle I wanted to capture. It’s always fun to find that sweet spot in the scene where all the angles line up.

Just started working on this guy this morning. Gonna take a break for a bit and decided to post what i have so far. Not too sure where I’m going with him, as far as background and scenes go, any thoughts would be appreciated.

Little alien piloting his X-station suit in the nebula rings of some far off cosmos, catching light and having fun.

Character slightly based on Perrin Aybara, but in some snowy environment. Maybe in the far reaches of the blight, who knows.

Thank you for posting it!

very nice… and most important… original :+1:

So nice man, i really like all your sculpts, and the composition is really awesome!!! :+1: :+1:

Well, here is my latest pic. I can’t say in words how much I love the new Zbrush 4r2 features. Really spectacular job guys. The bpr render abilities far exceed the previous version, and dynamesh makes my workflow so much more attuned to my needs in the moment.

This one was the same process at the others; Zbrush, with touchups in PS.hulky2small.jpg

MealeaYing: Thanks a lot! I’m glad you thought some of them were funny.

Pixel mix: Thanks!

bleb: I try to spend a lot of time making a fun and interesting composition scheme, thanks for noticing!

I really like your renders…

Thanks!
Love the new render potential in r2.
