I really love the choice of subject - I love Monge’s work myself and I have to say you’ve done quite a good job on this guy What I loved about the original though, was the attention to detail in the clothing - the buckeld shoes which you’ve skipped over a little… also the original’s face is much more plumb and subtle in expression which makes him both greedy looking and yet adorable
