Posted some wires over at cgtalk, but I will get some screengrabs from zbrush and post here tomorrow.
As for texturing, I do my base texture in Zbrush while painting my displacement. No details just overall coloring. I find Im a lot more creative while working in zbrush and the texturing and displacement are so linked toghether. I then take that map into Photoshop and start to add more details to it. Dont really know why I dont do that in zbrush, but I just feel more secure in photoshop when doing smaller details, I guess that’s just one of those old habits…
The final texture size for this one is 2k for the head and 2k for the body. Much lower then what I usually do. Im starting to work a lot more with tilable bitmaps and mix maps instead so I can go really close without having to paint huge maps.
