Its my first work in Zbrush, want to get a similarity between 3d and real model. Its just a face because it will be used for mocap. (sorry for bad english)
some update…
This bust is coming along very nicely. I could be wrong, but perhaps the bridge of her nose is a bit narrower?.. though it’s hard to say with the matcaps used in the screenshots (I recommend Matcap Gray). Do you know the name of the model?
To me it looks like the tip of the nose is a bit too high and the chin could be a tiny bit wider, everything else looks spot on.
Looks like a ‘Kick-ass’ start
It looks really close. Would be a lot easier to compare if you had your scultp in the same position/lighting as your reference. Its definately close.
thanks a lot for your replies. Yes, its Chloe Moretz. Ill use all your remarks.
Here a comparison and little update. Some things are still different, but i can`t find it

Need help!! In what way it is possible to get likeness? Drawing? Because everytime whatever I do I get a terrible face - wrong lines, wrong proportions
Please help!!!
many hopeless attempts - there is some progress
I wish I knew how to help you, but to me that last one looks very good.
I do have one question however: Is perspective turned on? To me Zbrush seems to flatten things out in some odd way and often seems like perspective is off when its actually on.
Seriously, I wish I could do what you have managed here.
Cheers,
Mealea
Thank you! Yes, perspective view is on because Im working with photo references, so its easier when 3d model is in perspective too, but it looks really like you said(
Some update, please don`t look on ears
hi, you ask what is wrong… some things i do see : the temple area is too wide, and not well shaped. the jaw is a tad too wide. the chin looks a tad too short. the eyes are too round. placement seems correct to me. , why she looks scary as you say, i think is that the forms you modeled are harsh, and not soft. for example the brow is hard corner in your sculpt, but even if the girl frowns, her brow would be rounded…
your start is great. i love doing porttaits too, not that i am good at it, but i learned it is better to restart fresh with a new sculpt trying to put improvements… hope it helps, keep going, you have a good base to work from…
great, looking forward to your final render
Thank you very much for your advices! Here is some update, i`m not getting into small details as long as there is not enough likeness.
yes, that is exactely as it will work, first the forms later the detail… your sculpt is getting much better. nice. check out if the chin is correct from sideview. it looks as if it is a bit too far back, usually it sits about half way under the nose, but check with your reference fotos, she might have the chin back like that. also, check the cheeks from the sideview. from the front view fotos you posted, i would think they are more rounded. … keep going, you are on your way
