Giovani Caramello - Digital sculpting reel 2011

Hi guys, Long time without posting here.
Well, I’m posting my first demo, actually it is a project I had think of doing in the middle of December (2010), and since then I came working on it at my “summer vacation”, I finished today at 4am. I worked on this project for about a month, but I would have worked much more in these models, the final was not as expected … But it is it, already got new personal projects. Hope you enjoy!
Cheers!

good sculpts!

Great work, really nice!

I have only one small suggestion for the reel, when you have the stills introducing the next character, eg. William, there is a rectangle image on the left that is clear to see and a bigger image with the opacity lowered on the middle/right, I think the opacity is a little too low,

Other than that great stuff

PS. what is the music?

Hi Giovani, nice models!

very nice work dude :+1:

joe55: thank you so much

Capital_G: Thank you so much. And thanks for the suggestion.
the music name is “Natsu No Ko - Camilo Carrara”

Dhyego: Thank you Dhyego!

RenoAnimations:Thank you so much

hi Giovani,
yes i can print out the old guy…the price depends what size you would like to have …would you like to have a solid statue or hollow with a minimal wllthickness?..this will reduce building costs immense.
do you want a textured version ?
let me know

…what makes prototyping expensive …is the postprocessing until the figure is clean of any defects…thats why people get charged for fixing processes.
i really try to keep costs low as possible to make it affordable for almost everyone to see his sculptures actually get build.
i would suggest to hollow out any part and then do a proper uw mapping…then go and start texturing .

i can help out in these processes too.

keep up your good work

Very good man!!! Awesome models in so short deadline! Congrats dude!

I’ve following your work for sometime and have been watching your reel now, and WOW!! this is tremendous work you have done here!, there is not much to say about the proportions, mayby the old mans legs on the back are a little bit stiff and could mayby needs some more fat and flesh . but It seams that your are doing all your sculpts from the bottom . And yout not using any generic models to work more quickly and Thats shines though your work, and make it more uniqe too look at… :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:
Best
Daniel

Karthik.AL: thank you!!

They look good. Not so sure about the woman’s left hip on that last model. Something looks off on that sculpt. The whole pose looks awkward.

Looking awesome
