Giant Red Scorpion ....Zbrush/Vue hybrid

the Scorpion was modeled in zbrush and exported into vue. The rest of the scene is vue. The scorpion was modeled from zshperes. Our little red buddy in this is getting himself a drink of water and in search of a Midnight Snack.

was playing around with altering her this afternoon…did a little texturing that I am not totally happy with. She looks to be a cross between and ant, scorpion, and lobster…so I guess she is strong, tastes good and stings like hell  …but hey it was something to do  yall have a great weekend!!! and this render was all zbrush btw

wow ron that is one awesome model… i think you nailed this character.

Wow nice model and image Ron
the lighting in Vue is very well done :+1:

You should work with Zspheres more often, Ron, looks like you did a decent job with them.

Most of your WIPs are from primitives, I would like to see some Zsphere work. I think you should expand your work. :+1:

See ya later.

Very good model Ron. Thanks for the tips and for posting this model

wicked cool ron! :+1: :+1: :+1:

Your little red friend isn’t so little! Hee Hee. Seriously though this is a really cool model and pic…

thats cool, i love this kind of stuff. im a huge ray harryhausen fan…is that low res for when it has the lines on it? those grids on some things look so creepy in a good way! i liked your spacecraft in outerspace too by the way

Well done Ron…I just love these hybrid images…looking forward to many more!!! :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:

go ron, go ron. :+1: :sunglasses:

Thats a great model Ron, I think perhaps the model is a bit lost in the Vue scene and doesnt really show it off well. Maybe a daylight rocky terrain scene with some sparse vegetation, would do it greater justice. Anyway, you made a splendid job with model. :+1: :+1: :+1: :+1:
Dave

Very good modeling Ron, Your work is constantly improving IMO… You are doing great!
