Getting Started Soon - Tips??

I’m going to be purchasing Zbrush soon as I have absolutely loved the work from individuals on this site for years, but now I feel like I’m ready to get involved. My ultimate goal with my creations is animation, so are there any tips for the first set of tutorials I should do and any other tips are greatly appreciated as well! Thank you! Looking forward to joining the ever-growing field of artists.

Read until you know it and keep reading all linked pages.
Forums are searchable with many answers

Is it difficult to rig a model and begin animating it once you transfer it over to something like 3DS Max? Or do I even need to buy a separate program like 3DS Max? Isn’t there a built in rigging and animation toolset in ZBrush?

You can rig and pose in ZBrush and there is a timeline. Blender is free, it can do lots. Rigging takes practice and patience in any software.

Alright great, thank you for the hasty answers!

Which one? http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/hasty

First one. Lol I’ll change my statement to “Thank you for answering my question with such haste” lol
