Getting correct angle again after doc resize

So, I made an incredibly complex dynamesh object with lots of insert brushes etc. 18 million polys. I’d like to render it out at a large size, say 6000 pixels wide. When I resize the document it drops the tool. if I clear the layer and replace the tool, its impossible to rotate it back to exactly the right angle. This object at this resolution is so sticky and it hangs up and them jumps way to far in or out. I’m using the typical alt/drag navigation tools. I’ve tried deformation>rotation without much better luck. Is there an easier way to do this? A camera would be nice. Noob here. Also, how do I make a new paragraph in this forum? Enter does nothing.

http://www.zbrushcentral.com/misc.php?do=bbcode Are you using the Axis plug? You’re trying to rotate the whole tool? Use transpose master and rotate it assuming it is made of subtools. Switching views with the Axis plug is a part of my workflow. Removing Dynamesh and ditching some of those points would really help…Delete loops, DecimationMaster or something.

Thanks, decimation master knocked the size down and I can navigate better now. Axis interesting but didn’t work for me- would be nice if you could save a user view with it. I wish there were a way to rotate around the viewer’s axis in addition to just whatever it’s using… Transpose master a bit confusing to me… will try to figure it out. Thanks again!

You joined the Forums long before me, I don’t know why you’re having difficulties.

Lol. I used Zbrush for a while back then… but you don’t use it you lose it!! I’m starting over pretty much from scratch. Loving it though.
