Getting back standard factory Hotkeys [Answered]

Hi there,

I created and stored some hotkeys a while ago (1-9 for brushes that I use often) but now I saw someone using a shortcut “1” for repeating last transformation (copy with Move tool). I find this function VERY cool, but I’m unable to get it back on number “1”. Can it be accessed through menu? If so, where is it located?

And in case I replaced some other cool hotkeys on other numbers - what are they, and is there a way to reset the factory hotkeys? I tried to load and point to the Startuphotkeys.txt, but that didn’t help - when I edited that file, I noticed that it contains my edited shortcuts… When I edit the file, delete the lines containing my custom hotkeys, save it as a different file and load it - nothing changes, Zbrush is still using MY unwanted hotkeys…

Thanks for any help, guys!

Bye!

See the highlighted note on this page for the location of the StartupHotkeys.txt file:

http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/customizing-zbrush/hotkeys/

The 1 hotkey is for the Stroke>Modifiers>Replay Last button, so you could just re-assign it to that if you wanted.

On Windows the default StartupHotkeys.txt file is:

//ZBrush Hotkeys
[BRUSH:MORE ITEMS,98] // B
[BRUSH:STANDARD,5447796] // Popup+T
[BRUSH:SMOOTH STRONGER,5447795] // Popup+S
[BRUSH:MOVE ELASTIC,5054565] // Popup+E
[BRUSH:MPOLISH,7151728] // Popup+P
[BRUSH:CLIPCURVE,4399203] // Popup+C
[BRUSH:CLAYLINE,4399212] // Popup+L
[ZPLUGIN:MISC UTILITIES :<<BRUSH,219] // [
[ZPLUGIN:MISC UTILITIES :BRUSH>>,221] // ]

(On Mac OSX the <<Brush>> hotkeys have different codes - 91 & 93)
