If I remember this right.
When ya built a new PC, doesn’t do any good to save your current zBrush.
After ya get ya new PC, then you tell zBrush and they get ya a new link for zBrush.

Right ?

Deactivate Zbrush on the old one and then activate it on your new Pc.

Do you mean the serial or activation instead of link?

If you mean the serial activation then yes you’ll need to deactivate it on the old pc and activate it on the new one with a new number. If your old pc crashed you can contact Pixologic and tell them to deactivate the old one. This will free up the license to activate it on the new one.
