Geometry in ZBrush and other DCC looks different

Case study:

I have a character bust I have to produce. I was given concept art of the angles as reference. I used image plane 4 for BG reference. The bust fits perfectly in Zbrush. When I put everything into Softimage, and set up the rotoscope image (image plane equivalent), the model is different, looks like as non uniform scaling has been applied.

I checked that the pixel aspect ratio is 1 in Softimage, so it’s not the image that is stretched in either applications.

So, any ideas, workarounds, etc.?

This could be anything. Could use more description, a screenshot, or just a mockup screenshot of of a different model that behaves the same way.

I’m not a Softimage user yet, but the above info should help anyone else may come along.
