Geometrickals

Jantim,

Is there a wish list for the "Jantim Extra’s"roll up, or should we wait for V3 for that one?

Thank!

TD

Took a while, but now let´s start right away:

01 Begin with an Icosahedron and lay it out like shown

02 subdivide that 1x

phpheeeeww ,finally…

( i know it could be done with 1 band only duplicated and

rotated ,but you got to be a mathematician for that and

i´m definitely not !! )

Hope this will be of some use for at least some of you .

Til later , J .

I love them all. Thanks for the tutorial. :+1:

How very Goth!..guess thats why so dark.
Inspirational doodles. That Wings3D looks so complicated I think I’ll stick to Maya.

Have you seen this ?
(I see that you love some hand’s manipulation

And the mythical thread at Zbc : Celtics Knots script

To be or knot to be, nice work!

Hi again !

Blaine91555 :Thank you ,hope it´ll be useful.

pride : complicated ? hmmm , you got to get used to it ,then

it´s ok for some things and opposite to maya it´s free !

Frenchy Pilou : Thanks , and yes i´ve seen that (take a closer

look at post no17of this thread  ) . That was one of the first

things i found in the internet when my computer-life started

in november 2004 .

And for the “mythical thread” , didn´t see that one before ,so

thanks ,always interesting to see other people´s approaches

on that.

(For me it´s part of the fun to construct them myself though

 )

Bas Mazur :  Thanks ! Glad to hear from you again !

You can learn wings in a day if you know modelling. It is a nice little modelling application.

It is a nice little modelling application.

It is a nice big modelling application
And you can even edit your UV with it

Not big at all when you compare it to something like Max or Maya.

…the prize!

Some people must have lots of money to spend regarding to

how many expensive software they seem to posess.

Ok now , here comes the last one of this “series”.

I’m afraid that the only solution to those geometric attacks are to take 2 doses of Zbrush and post in the morning.

very cool stuff, Jmeyer.

I applaud your patience in creating those children of your “attacks”. I personally hope you have alot of them, they are a wonderful viewable way to show youngsters that math can be beautiful.

rock on!

where have you created the base meshes ?

Silo or max.

I dont have much experiences of these two software, any tutorials how to create them ?

Silo or max
