Ah nice, seems pretty hard to make though .
By the way, i just realised the helm you made, with plates overlapping. It looks really cool! My favourite part of armor. Seeing how your concept sketch was, i really want to see how this Ganon guy will end.
it was sorta hard ot make, even harder cause i used limited tools. but oh well.
the helm yeaaaa, one problem though, he cant turn his head. im not a good engineer so ima have to go back and fix it : [
thanks for the comments man!
now ive seem to run into zmappers 500k poly limit. how on earth do i get around that?
Channel your inner serial killer and cut 'em up into tiny pieces. You can paste everything back together in photoshop. It can be tiresome but hey, it gets the job done. MD 3 also does normal maps, just not as well or as fast.
This is crazy stuff! AMAZING! Makes this fan very happy to have found your project You should work on a OOT remake
like they did for Tomb Raider.
Are you going to do fur effects in some areas since your interp is having him more of a pig-man hybrid instead of just the man for the phantom version?
If you can figure out how to do some displacement mapping (I always have the worst problem having that come out good) - I can just envision a wild pose for this one! Even with the pug
thanks yall sorry for the delay in the update, school and life is trying to kill little ol jonah : [ and i cant update my thread headliner, i see no edit button : [can maybe a mod check it out?
so i think he’s leaving the idea of being ganon as i move on. things tend to do that for me anyways. but yes, i got him on the horse and my knowledge of horses and poses are limited. any help about the horse would be awesome. this is the low poly version and the high rez will be comming soon. when posing the armor i had to take things away and relocate other. but yes this is almost it.
problems that will be changed:
-place feet on the ground better
-elongate the back legs or buff them up some?
things i will be doing;
-finish tail
-giving armor damage
-last details on horse and ganon : ]
let me know what you think.
note lesson learned: never bite off more than i can chew :[[[[[
oh and bonus art i did if anyone cares

WOW! Finally i see new stuff rom u m8! And it still amazes me, i love the horse and Ganon guy.
The undead guy has got STYLE man, he’s cool.
The Night Elf rogue drawing is AMAZING! Is ur character a night elf rogue?
I got a Blood Elf rogue (70), NE hunter (64) and 70 troll shammy.
awesome work!!! small_orange_diamond

I know it’s a minor detail, but I love the
base that the skeleton dude is standing
on, the texture is awesome - it looks like
real concrete with one side smoothed.
killer.
those are really cool … good work.
Love the latest images and cant wait to see the finished Ganon model.
One crit with elf is that it looks like she is about to slice herself open as it seems that the sword/knife in her right hand is between her legs.
Otherwise great work.
Are the elf and the undead character done in 3D packages? Material for the undead character is really cool, does look very much like concrete.
thanks!
oh the skullfaced guy is made of sculpty and primered. that was hand done and will be my 2nd project after this ganon thing.
and i will soon have ganon high rez up of nothign fixed. it was my first really high rez test of everything together. comming soon : ]
thanks again.
this is the high rez version of the one i posted at the top. nothing has been changed regarding the pose or the other stuff mentioned. this weekend it will be done!
im trying to make a turn around and it flies all over the place, how does one make a turntable in ZB with the whole model staying put. aslo some normals flips to small sections of my subtools and when i ungroup they all go back to their unposed position. can anyone help me?
Very impressive collection of work, I am a wow fan so the subject matter appeals a lot, have you tried doing your own version of the death knight character for the expansion ? I think that would be right up your alley.
JF
yea im all about the deathnights too : ] i have soemthing like that kinda done : ]]

update!
i got Ganon pretty much done. trying to figure out how to fix my turnaround : [ i am un able to center the pivot point in ZB.
yay so i am workign on some stupid non artistic technical issues out with ganon in order to make a turn around. so in the mean time, i started SKULLFACE! this one will be alot easier, but i have to **** with cloth and sculpt out good hair. he will have guns ( a usp, socom, samurai sword and a old revolver ) i’m may do this one simple enough to texture : ] anyhow this will be a blast!
incase yall forgot:
original pics and designs by Jonah " the thousandaire "
block in maya, not too much to him yet…
this is what i has to show for skullface. umm the face was pretty quick, and i have most of the clothes on him, ill be posting that as soon as i feel comfortable with a couple trials of cloth folds, its fun though. and umm hes missing his hair and im working on ncloth for the trench coat wind folds for a block. his anatomy is done as well. but here is his face ! what do yall think.
oh and final renders of ganon will be up shortly, i just cant get a turn around of him in zb : [/
another update!
im pumped to have figured out ncloth in a couple minutes. thats what i used for the coat. as for everything else i just did it by hand and a little ref. folds and hair are super new to me in 3d. umm the big gun is a model i did that was fortunes gun from metal gear 2. the character is mine : ] i did him in a matter of days, way way WAY easier than ganon. and ganon i still cant get a decent turn around, it crashes my computer.
well here he is, and im not happy with the hair, how do people do wavy hair, i checked rennissance ref and that didnt help out too much.
looks good, my favorite thing about that design was the drawing with the hat, dig the hat… dunno if it works with an action pose, but dont rule it out.
