Am proficient with maya and 3ds max and would like move to the next level i.e realistic model and i can’t decide between learning mud or zbrush and don’t want to learn both plz.p.s i prefer maya…
(1)any1 who has used both could help me to make the decision,i have seen mudbox showcase and when you see films like ‘avatar’ its very tempting but on the other side zbrush also is award winning.
(2)on the features page its written that when using zbrush you can add bazillion details to low poly made in software like maya but for game i heard that the limit is around 3000 polys so how to make super-realistic mesh and make it low poly for games like assassin creed(3000 polys)?or the pro don’t even use zbrush or mud to make main character like splinter cell"convic?
