Fynn's Sketchbook

Yes, a little less.

ps. Sorry for my english.

no problem at all!

I made the eyes a tad smaller and worked more and the overall forms and started with the details
Next step is to sharpen up the details that I have so far, detail the lips and work more on the forehead
after that I will start with fibermesh for his hair, eyebrows and eyelashes

hope you like it so far and stay tune for updates and the timelapse video once the model is finished
crits are always very welcome!

so here is WIP of a new echorché study
except of the skull everything is a placeholder for now
I have just 3 subtools right now (head/spine/rest) and will split every bone into a single subtool to work on it

Hello!
The Humerus should be longer cause right now it appears the same length as bones of the forearm. You also might detail it a bit more. In reality there is a noticeable asymmetry in distal end of the Humerus:the medial epicondyle projects more while the lateral has a prominent ridge. Plus there is a ball for capitulum which connects it to Radius. But that is a minor stuff that will not be visible on the final ecorche. The more important problem is that you are missing the Cubital (or carrying) angle. The bones of arm and forearm aren’t parallel but meet at slight angle, most noticeable in females and in supinated position.
Also, the Ulna is too straight. It has an S curve which gives more room for wrist flexors.
Same thing applies to the low extremities. IMHO the Femur could be slightly longer.
And one small thing. The ribs appear round in crossection while in reality they are quite flattened and a bit more wider. But I know how tedious it might be to rework each rib so since you are planning to cover them with muscles then it is not so crucial.
Good luck!

@Vir Norin thank you so much for the feedback! I will definitely overwork the things you mentioned
glad you replied so quickly because I’m already blocking out the muscles so thanks again!

hey guys

I started sculpting the muscles
currently I’m working on the legs and arms
let me know what you think

I adjusted the length of the upper and forearm and added more muscles
now I’m moving on to the neck and face and when this is done I will add the missing muscles on the hands and feet
