full control for scultping with a rig in it....

Hi,

i have got a bit of a problem.
I would like to create a creature which can transform in to another shape (same geometry and topology).
To achieve that i would need a rig for my creature in zbrush so that i can bring it always back to the original pose.

What i thought, i just create a zsphere and then i bind my mesh on it and then i can create the rig.
I thought i can go on with my work if iam using the subdivisions under the “adaptive skin”.
But what happens now is that on every subdivision level it saves my current sculpting. If i switch beetwen my subdiv levels under the adaptive skin, than i always lose me sculpting progress on the next subdiv level.

What would be the correct workaraound if you would like to have a rig for your creature in zbrush but you still need full control over the sculpting process?

You could use layers and/or a morph target.
