Frozen/Uneditable Points during Retopo (answered)

I apologize if this has been asked before, but I did a forum search and didn’t find anything.

I was working on a retopo, and after a bit most of the vertices have become frozen/immobile/uneditable. I can select them, and make new faces from them, but I can’t move them or delete them. Any ideas?

I tried exiting/reentering Edit Topology mode, restarting ZB, etc to no avail.

Any help is appreciated!

I’ve had the same problem. I usually just delete the point and recreate it. I can move it then.

It's an annoyance. I've experienced it since they first introduced topology to Zbrush.

I’m not certain but it also may be related to the radius of the initial appended Zsphere.

Try pressing Tool>Masking>Clear.

If this works, you probably masked the points accidentally by Ctrl+clicking the background.

That just may have done it… thanks! I’ll let you know for sure once I finish out the retop. Not sure how I wouldn’t have noticed this in the first place, oh well, lesson learned.

Thanks again!
