From Hell....

It’s a great way to make a chain but…every 2nd link has the side plates close together (touching) so the teeth of the sprocket couldn’t engage at those points?

You are RIGHT. hahaha. The chain in the step-by-step is not the chain I took for the bike. It´s a fast step-by-step and I put it together as fast as possible. But it shows the workflow…

Thanks for taking the time to make the tut! I think that I would even sit down to watch a screencapture of the entire modeling process; modeling a bike would be considered as a “typical” polymodeling project, seeing it done with ZBrush is very intriguing to me :+1: !

very inspiring work hell666 !

This just blows me away that you are modeling like this in ZBrush. So cool! Very cool of you to show your process as well!

Thanks for sharing with us all!

Peace-NickZ.

Absolutely inspirational stuff…thanks for the ongoing tutorial. Work like this should go some way towards showing people that zbrush will always be the be all and end all software choice.

Yay! Great Zsphere work! Many thanks for all the WIP pics and the tutorial.

Wow, a Zsphere bike, now I’ve seen everything:lol:

Just aweesome!!, a bike completely done in zbrush!, that’s siiiick :+1: thank you so much for explain the process, it’s so easy and fun!.

I’d really like to see this in the top row. It just takes zbrush into a direction few take it.

It speaks volumes for the versatility of the software as well as the talented artist who made this.

Just really impressed by this.

I’m completely blown away by that bike! I didn’t honestly think that kind of work was possible with zspheres. I’m going to have to try and experiment with them more. Cheers for sharing it

taking it to another level…only a matter of time before bike manufacturers start looking at zbrush for designs…

Nice work, good effort.

I guess it´s finished now…

Just totally perfeeeeect! i love it, it’s awesome that you create this enterily in zbrush! :+1:

That looks excellent :+1: Very impressed with that it is created inside ZBrush. Good job.

Even though its a Mountain Bike and not a monster or something imaginary, it still shows the power of Zbrush. It was entirely Zbrush and is executed well. The render looks great! :+1:

I would actually like to know more about it. Would you please share your render settings (if any) and light setup? Perhaps some passes if used in the final comp? I do not know much about rendering within Zbrush but you did a great job. Your previous tutorials were amazing, great use of stills to illustrate your workflow. Your descriptions were thorough and I really enjoyed them.

Top notch work!

Hi! Thanx for your compliments!!!

Would you please share your render settings (if any) and light setup?

I do not know much about rendering within Zbrush

I also don´t know much …nothing… about rendering. My way is the “try-and-error-principle”. I have modified the basic-Matcaps without a plan. Just pushed the buttons higher or lower till I liked the result. My rendering is very simple - I only click on the button “Best” and if I like the result, I save it as a PSD.

The same with the lights. Tried this and tried that and when I liked it, I saved it. But at the end I have 5 different lights shining on the bike.

I will do something new in the next weeks to show my workflow exactly.

thanks hell666! I look forward to seeing more.

I agree totally! Top row material here. I am still blown away with what you have accomplished!
