the only possible issue i can see with your mesh is the tris on the upper thighs. When posing this model those are gonna cause some issues. It almost looks a bit like you worked on the lower legs seperate or subdivided while something else was hidden and it compensated by adding the tris in. a suggestion i’ve seen that works in cases like that is to edge loop the area first before dividing it, and this way you shouldnt have to split with tris, the quads should still line up even if its 2-1

tis no prob… sometimes you cant avoid them but that just struck me as a potentially problematic place for them. either way its a better starting point for most people here then they may have had before you shared it so definitely thanks :slight_smile:

the whole edge looping thing is a good idea regardless too because splitting the tool with edge loops while in such an early stage of laying out the model will make it super easy later on for rigging for posing and potential animation… saves you a ton of time having to redo something later on which may include have to undo things to make the redone things work … been trying to get in the habit myself of making sure i use that and creaseing everytime i want to split a subtool into polygroups… just to make sure when i pose later on theers some extra padding of poly’s there so i dont have wierd connections and displacement that i wasnt intending.
