Being new to Zbrush, this one has stumped me. i’ve been working around it, but I’m sure there has to be a better way.
When I start wtih zbrush, I leave the doc size at it’s default. i like it. But when i render, I want a high res output file. So… I need to change the doc size.
When I change the doc size from say 800x600pixels to 2000x1800 pixels, something happens with the framing of the scene. If i place the object in the frame like it was (The frmae being the viewport white rectangle area) - the render is of a small object. To actually fill out the new doc size, I have to scale the object outside the viewport itself. Like instead of head and shoulders, all i see in the viewport is the face, and the rest is off screen.
Then I dont know where it is, or how it will render. so i do a test preview render and check out the output, move the object and test render again.
There has to be a better way.
