Thats just awesomeness! His arms came out pretty nice and I love the pose! Hopefully you will decide to take this one all the way with texturing and rendering. The only crit I really could give you right now is that it looks kind of strange where his abs meet his ribs. Looking at hi hair; maybe you want him to have a kind of, biomech-suit look. :+1:

The bio.mech suit looks fine to me, but now i will try differents test for the colors… the metal i want to smooth with flesh like a gradient…not so easy :eek:

I’m not a huge fan of the cloth where the pants meet the boots, but I love the pose and overall shape. Reminds me of Bird from the Street Fighter Alpha games, as well as those evil dudes from Tekkonkinkreet. Very cool. keep going!

@Pimeto: i made the base skeleton in withe, “fill color”. When i placed the zketch over it i used a red color, when i smoothed the variuos strokes, the colors smoothed too, creating the color gradient. Just try :stuck_out_tongue:

Fracture: Hey you got some seriously super sculpts. Enjoyed having the chance to look at em all. Exquisite job on cyblade, especially in regards to the hair. Very dynamic and full of life!! Did you use snakehook brush on that, curious since long hair can be a challenge in zb. Nice to see what you’ve been doing in 3.5 from the zsketches and the sculpts that came out of em :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:. Keep cranking em out, will be watching for more. Oh also thanks for the matcap materials, will check em out as well.

For the Cyblade’s hair i used many zspheres chains, and the “convert to main” option, to obtain different flows i used the transform tools of Zbrush, expecially transpose with masks.
The base hair mass (the bigger inside) is made from a simply zspere composition, i use this to put over the Zsphere chains for the “flying” hair…

And now another strange Zsphere 2 composition, a 3 hours sketch inspired by a simple pencil sketch i made time ago:

I threated the image in PS, but adjusting the basic material color bump and red cavity in Zbrush it was easier (and unexpected :wink: ) to find a good balance, so i’m glad that you notice it :smiley:
