Following Redbeard's Advanced ZB Female Design & Hard Surface Tutorial

I bought this tutorial several months ago and finally got around to giving it a try. It is 16 hours of lessons so it took awhile to watch the whole series, then start following along and model it myself. I take a lot of screen shots to compare. I haven’t Zremeshed here yet. Just a few ZB and Keyshot tests.

I LOVE this tutorial! I know that by the time I get to the end I will have improved my modeling skills and confidence.

Looks good. I may give this a shot. While the characters I’m trying to work on are in a different style, I’m not satisfied with the results, especially hair.

Matt shows several methods of doing the hair, including fibermesh. The hair brush he provides is great and is what I used here. It allows you to separate the strands after inserting it. Not finished with the hair… I wanted to hide her ears so I jumped ahead.

I bought the tutorial. I’ve also noticed at least one or two other posts with their results and would normally try it with my own character, but after watching the first 2 videos, I learned things I could do to improve my original designs… so I’m going to use a character from someone I follow on Twitter, Jessie KatCat. So it’s a cat girl… and I’m going to have to adjust the ears, but Redbeard’s method looks like it should still apply and might work better than how I’ve been MODELING them (not sculpting them).

All clothing parts blocked out and detailed. Haven’t polypainted anything yet.

Tweaked her face shape more and polypainted.

That is nice work.
Can you post a link to the tutorial?

Never mind, I found it on Gummy: https://gumroad.com/a/939734131

ZModeler getting a serious workout on the bike!

This is going to take a while to finish, but it will be worth it.

Made a few alterations to the Bike. Played in KeyShot way too long! But it’s just so fun. Next I have to combine the girl and the bike.
