My first try in Zbrush after watching a few DVDs about Zbrush. It took me 2 weeks, I started with Zsphere then sculpt it. Since it’s my first time texture in Zbrush, I can say that I dont really like the texture I create for my Flying Lizard

don’t worry you will get the hang of texturing in zbrush! I like the coloring as a base so perhaps a little experimenting with some materials and adding some other colors here and there you will find the emperor’s clothes;)

Looks like this left hand missed out on the pedicure that his right one got. 
Here’s a really good zscript for texturing “dinosaur skin”. It may not apply completely to yours, since you have a somewhat less wrinkled type of creature, but you should give it a watch nonetheless, if you’re looking to keep tweaking his texture. Nice work!
