I want to flip the normals of my ZTool because sometimes it’s easier to smooth out anomalies with the normals flipped. But when I do, it deletes my subdivision history. Is this a bug?
Thanks,
Dustin

I just did a test on a sphere and flipping its normals didn’t get rid of its subdivision history. It seems to be a problem that’s unique to my model. Weird.

I’ve spent many, many hours trying to figure out why it is doing this!
Your subdivisions get lost if you have done a Retopology on the mesh.
flip works fine on a sphere, but not so good on a retopologised sphere…is this a known bug and is there a work around?:qu:
