I am making a complex model of an extinct aquatic lizard ( a long one ), which for the purpose of being able to use textures over 8k has been divided into several subtools (UVs were laid in spaces [0,1],[1,2],[2,3], etc. - and then the object was divided using UVGroups button and split accordingly). The problem is on the the edges of subtools - how can I make a seamless transition from one subtool to the next one, which is a neighbouring one? The Project All and Project brush are not working properly (only in some places, many errors). Is there something as “mirror scultping AND painting” so that when I model/paint one edge, the one belonging to the adjoining subtool changes as well? I can’t merge those segments, because each has over 10 million polygons and ZBrush would not handle that high polygon resolution AND I need the detail (it will be rendrered in 4k). Please help.
