fixing a hole

is there a way in zbrush to fix a hole in a base mesh? heres a pic of my problem

I need to get rid of the holes to create a contiguous skin/polymesh

all help or pointers towards resources appreciated

You can do it with retopology. The exact technique will depend on the subdivision levels you have. If there’s a low resolution level, you can use this technique to repair the hole: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Topology:_Mesh_Editing If there are too many polygons for that to work effectively, you will need to retopologize the whole mesh as explained here: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Topology
