Hey guys I need some help, I’ve been working on this model for a while and at some point I had modeled it with symetry turned of and I’ve then turned it back on and not noticed. Is there anyway I can cut the model down the middle and mirror the geometry re-symetrising it. I have both maya and zbrush so if there is a way to do it in either any help would be great.

you probably lost your sym using Traspose rotation at some point…happens to me all the time when you blur a topo mask then rotate.
anyway, if he isn’t too highpoly on his highest subD then you can export him out, take him in Maya, cut him in half, fix the sym line, then mirror him over.
export that out, and then in Zbrush reconstruct back down for your lower subD’s.
you can do it right inside Zbrush too…but that is like a 3 page tutorial and pictures would help as well…
