Hey guys!
This is both my first post on here, and my first sculpt with Zbrush. I cannot believe how powerful the program is, and I believe I’m only the surface of the potential of it at the moment!
For our ‘body modelling’ semester at University, we have to make a humanoid character, paying close attention to anatomy. We are marked on whether or not it is anatomically correct. Saying that though, as long as the underlying anatomy is ok, we can do what we like. Thus, I decided to make a Sumo wrestler.
I started out by collecting loads of reference, and then made a simple base mesh in Max. This is my first time modelling a character, so I know the topology isn’t perfect, but I did a lot of research into the subject. Hopefully with time I can improve.
Ignore the distortion in the UV map, that is now fixed.

I then took it into Zbrush for my first ever attempt at sculpting… Let me know what you think, and how I can improve it!

The last one is me just sculpting in some basic form for the legs and arms. The torso has changed, as you can see.
