First ZBrush movie

I just figured out the technical details of how to record a ZBrush movie.

I know the video is probably lame, but I gotta start somewhere.

Thanks 4 sharing :+1:

Hadn’t heard of Camtasia… Is it free?

I’ve heard of SnagIt in the old days.

Is this the software you are talking about?

yes, thats the one i was talking about. from techsmith.

another good one is Hycam http://www.hyperionics.com/

30$ compared to Camtaisia at 300$.

you sure its any good? there are lots of these types of programs but most of them just suck. they lag like all heck. i know camtasia it a good one from experience.

I tried Camtasia & was on the verge of buying it when I heard of Hyepercam, after trying both demos I think they both performed about the same,(if anything I’d say camtsaia lagged more)once your dealing with million poly meshes in ZB any other open apps is going to slow things down.

best thing you can do is try the demos;)

I finally got the hang of recording the videos and manipulating the audio.

I record the video using Dr. Divx. Then I run VirtualDubMod to extract the audio. And then I amplify the audio with WavePad. Then I splice the new mp3 back into the video with Dr. Divx. The process has become pretty straightfoward. And I’m not experiencing any lag.
