First post: Alien concept

This is the first time I dare make a post here. I use zbrush for several years (zbrush 2). It’s a alien character concept inspired by an artist that I like: Jared Krichevsky. The beast was made in zbrush, textured in Mari and render in modo. Photoshop for color and background ajustment. Hope you like and comments are Welcome!

Happy 2017 everyone. The first post of 2017.
After my first project with the crocodile (Link here) with my dremel idea builder (FDM printer) I decided to tackle something much more difficult and complex. I then decided to make this creature that I like.

Here is the final version before printing

Here are all the parts of the assembly with the male and female connectors that I add. And the platform.

Here is the first piece i printed. I have calculated about 138 hours of printing. Just for the part on the higher images = 24 hours. I try not to add too much support in order to keep the surface of the model clean. The supports have tendencies left some difficult marks to correct with the sanding.
